About the Journal

Established in 2018, the SXCBot Postgraduate Research Journal (PgSTAT) is an annual independent, open access student research publication featuring the scholarly work of SXC botany postgraduates. One issue is published per semester. Peer review is double-blind and performed by SXC graduate teachers. The  team copyedits and prepares articles for final publication.

Mission Statement: To provide a platform for Botany postgraduate students to showcase their scholarly work to the student body and general public, and to offer the student body a wide range of academic perspectives, provoking intellectual pursuits and collaboration.

Vision: For the Postgraduate Research Journal to be a respectable and valuable research publication in academia within and outside Cornell University.

The SXCBom Postgraduate Research Journal is an effort by students, for students.
